Day 7 - Private Conversation, Beat and Luke

[It's convenient that Luke made Beat promise to drag him around. Once he found the boy, he tapped his shoulder and pointed toward the cabins, keeping them both silent and doing his best to keep their meeting completely off the record. Hopefully, anyone listening to the tapes would think Luke just wandered away from what he was doing on his own volition.]

Sorry about the secrecy, man. It's just... I need to make sure no one knows we talkin'. If they know, I'm gonna die. End of story.

[he takes a breath, softening a bit as he does so.]

... I'm really sorry about your mom. I need you to know I woulda never voted for her. And I wanna tell you Rapunzel was the bloodhound, and she found another hunter before she died. You made me promise to keep you active, so that's what I'm gonna do.

[one of the three who voted for Ema. He doesn't think Luke needs a reminder of that though.]

Yeah, I thought it should be you. No one's gonna trust me anyway after I fucked up that bad wit Ciel. You can say it was you Rapunzel looked up and met.

Actually yeah. I told Joshua what I know. We settin' up a plan to ninja England outta here - it's gonna be a secret voting block, so the countries don't gang up on whoever's pointin' at him. So reveal Tony and Ukyo if you can, but no one can know about England. We can use your vote, too.

Oh yeah, I suppose announcing England is out of the question with America around. When are you planning to do it? This trial?

Nah, not this one... I think when you out Tony, we gotta vote him to prove your claim's legit. And the alliance has to stay strong for it to even work.

[That means no one in their alliance can die without being replaced.]
